A test ride lasts half an hour, and it is the best half hour to decide on a bike. A little preparation makes it count.
What to bring
Your licence, first: we check it before handing over the keys. Your own helmet and gloves if you have them; if not, we lend you a helmet in your size. Boots and a jacket make the ride more honest than trainers and a sweatshirt.
What to ask
How the bike feels at low speed, in town, with a passenger. What the first service costs and when it is due. What your current bike is worth as a trade-in: we look at it while you ride.
After the ride
You leave with a written offer, never with a signature to give on the spot. Take it home, compare, call us back.
